"Rainbow fishing" - that's for me really sport fishing of all types. To catch fish you need to many times change your fly, think about this what is going on in the water, and up of them too. Weather, time of year/day, temperature, wind, type of line, one fly, or maybe tandem, from surface or maybe deep, slowly or quickly?? etc. etc.
And Bang! :) That nice unexpected Bang when you taken the bite. Long fight as a rainbows are really strong fishes and without net can give you some problems to take, many time run out of your hands :)
Try long leaders with two flys (can be same type but different sizes) as you never know which will better for fish. I was seen one time fish as look on first my buzzer (dropper), but attack second one..
Many fishes like to fallow fly, so expect bite every time, and to the end.
Good luck, and have fun!
